Lunch Hour Screening with Director James Costa

On Saturday May 3, HSFM hosted a screening of "Lunch Hour", a feature-length documentary that explores the national school lunch program, childhood obesity, and our addiction to unhealthy food at the Takoma Park Community Center. Following the film, James Costa, writer and director, led a discussion. If you missed the screening but were interested, you can arrange your own or purchase the film at the Lunch Hour web site. Thanks to the City of Takoma Park for their support of this event.

"I have two children. Both of them take lunch from home. I have means to buy school lunch, I would prefer to buy school lunch, but school lunch is just not food in my opinion."
